T3 : The Hidden Valley

Trail T3 links the settlement of Potamia with the beach of Lichnaftia. The descent goes through the path of Tartari which at some point crosses a stone bridge. It traverses the rural landscape which is interspersed with huts and dovecots and an uninterrupted view of Mykonos. Before arriving at Lichnaftia, in the area of Marouli, the path comes upon a well-preserved watermill. It goes on to cross the beach of Lichnaftia and the return trip towards Potamia goes uphill to the other side of the ravine which is overgrown with lush vegetation and scattered small chapels adorned with murals of folk art.
