T2 : From the Sea to the Sky

Trail T2 links two of the villages of Tinos with the greatest altitude, Arnados and Dyo Choria, with the seaside (Agios Ioannis Porto). It’s a mild uphill along the sides of the mountain offering a rather rewarding panoramic view. After the ascent one can relax while strolling through Dyo Choria and Arnados, embellished with the countless archways. From there on, the trail goes downhill towards Berdemiaros, Triantaros and it continues to the Holy Monastery of Faneromeni. The descent gets steeper while the trail crosses the rural area of Kounares. From there, one leg of the path leads to the settlement of Agia Varvara, while the main path continues for Smovolo (with the ancient tower), Agios Sostis, and by following the coastal lane, it returns to Agios Ioannis Porto.
