Trail T1 begins from Chora and it successively passes through some of the most popular sights of the island of Tinos, such as the Holy Monastery of Virgin Mary Evangelistria, Poles (the capital of the island in antiquity), Exombourgo (the capital in Medieval times). The return trip to the Chora crosses the villages of Karia and Mountados (where the connection with the Holy Monastery of Kehrovounio is a possibility). The trail encircles the Dam of Vaketa and the surrounding rural area, traverses Chora’s “industrial area” and after a stroll through the scenic lanes of the settlement it arrives again at the “platform” point.

Τ1Α : Chora - Kionia - Ktikados - Kyra-Xeni

Trail T1A connects Chora with Kionia via the coastal road and it then goes uphill towards Ktikado and Kyra-Xeni. From Kyra-Xeni one can return directly to Chora via the T1 trail or walk uphill towards Xompourgo and return to Chora via another stretch of trail T1 (Karya-Mountados).
Τ1Β : Tripotamos - Smperados - Mountados

This path is a shortened version of that of T1 if one wishes to avoid the uphill ascent to Xompourgo. It moves all along the length of a footpath which offers a panoramic view and links the truly picturesque villages of Tripotamos, Smperados and Mountados.
