Trail M2 is of great geological interest since it moves along the dividing line of two totally different geological areas. On one side there are the fertile lands of the plateau, which borders on Xompourgo, and on the other the granite rock formations.

This trail because of its exceptional geological interest has been suggested as a geo route. All along the path, impressive granite rock formations dominate the landscape and one can also notice fields that were cultivated in the distant past, huts partially built on the rocks, underground passages under massive rocks, granite formations which resemble huge balconies, rocks of various formations which have received distinctive names by the locals, chapels, threshing fields, bee hives and other points of interest. The path is accessible only after coming in contact with the local association of Falatados.
