Ε4 : Heading to the Quarries

An old trail that starts from Mamados ends up in Mali. It passes the chapel of Panagia Odigitria which is located below the ancient acropolis of Agios Georgios. The trail going down to Mali is impressive due to its unending view towards Andros. This trail, at first from the road of Mali and then via the trail that goes by the old stonecuttery, leads to the settlement of Koumelas. The uphill climb begins passing through demarcated trails, looking upon the mines of green marble, to take you to Marlas and then back to Mamados.
